A strong anthem normally comes with some sort of merchandising cash-in or clever logo to paste everywhere. Typically simple with eye-popping graphics, usually involving pop culture tie-ins. While the HGAH logo does pop, its intent is far more simple. Fuck your separation symbols.

The "Raised Fist" has to be the most confusing symbol there is. For centuries, in one way or another, this fist, or variation of, has meant unity, separation, anti-violence, violence, support, defiance, etc. While other symbols are just as guilty for pulling us apart, us meaning the human race, this was the easiest choice to help get our point across. Most symbols, insignia, religious, gang, all preach to raise up as one to help and heal family members while banish, harm, or murder those opposed. That is not unity, that is forced separation. This logo is to say fuck all that.

There's a good chance we believe in many similar things. There's a good chance we disagree on a ton, as well. However, the one thing all humans should agree on is that we are all human and need to do what's best in our common interest. Get along and exist. Believe in what you want, love who you want, but help each other not only survive, but thrive. If we, as humans, work as a team, community to community, state to state, country to country, we can reverse all of this separation that our ancestors have and continue to shove in our face. 

The fight for peace becomes harder and harder when weapons advance faster than a handshake. Even as a world leader, you must understand that no world to rule would be a poor business move. We can work together. Imagine all the world's scientists working together instead of having to focus on "national defense". All religions accepting that there are other beliefs and the amount of good they could all achieve living in harmony. Hell, even drug and gang war businesses could be ran better off of cooperation, especially with the rise of legalities and ease of pharmaceuticals. 

The world could fix our war, fix our hunger, fix our hate, but we're allowing them to separate us. Showing us that because one person is slightly different means they're inferior. Want your greatest grandchildren to have a chance at life? Want to see and read about space travel? Cheaper, more efficient fuels and energies? Then we need to stop separating. 

We do what we can to keep quiet on topics that ruffle feathers, the sillier the better, but this is something we can no longer tolerate. The fist, and every other symbol, gets a big middle finger. An Antihero doesn't want to save the day, but when enough is enough, what the fuck are ya gonna do? We can't do much on our own but will do what all we can. We will promote equality and chaos for all at BkB shows. We will not tolerate prejudice or ignorance. Be cool to your fellow fans and they'll be cool to you.
